Aside from the Black history in this area, I am also interested in writing and researching on all and any local history, business, clubs, organizations and service providers.
My intent in creating this website and blog is to let people know of the vast and rich history that Oxford County has to offer and about the various and numerous activities, events and festivities in the area. I will also like to share related resources and links. (This will be a continual work in progress.) I am a strong believer that education helps people to understand and become more tolerant of others.
With a template from Weebly.com I designed my website and blog and have taken most of the pictures myself or from Weebly.com. The exception includes: the header "Black History" in the "Black History Events" under "Oxford Black History" and all logos under "Organizations." Many of the photos and images on my website that I have not taken are of courtesy of/& used with permission by the owners in which I cite all sources and provide links. A few pictures are from the internet which I state.
Many of the articles have been published, I will cite the source and some articles have not been published. Highlighted orange text indicate a link that will open into a new window.
I hope you enjoy your stay at my site. Please visit often and tell your friends and colleagues.
(NOTE: If you copy any materials from my website and/or blog, please acknowledge the source 'Heather A. Rennalls'.)
Thank you,
